Welcome to my Tae Kwon Do page.

Here are some pictures of what I have done so far.

This is my first week of Tae Kwon Do. 
I started in June 2006 with a white belt.
I thought it was AWSOME when I first started.

  This is my first belt test in August 2006.
I did a step behind side kick to break this board.  That is  my instructor who is holding the board.  He is very nice.  I passed my test and now I have a white belt with a yellow stripe.

This is my first tournament in September 2006.  I won the gold medal for FORMS.  It was SO cool!!!

This is still from the first tournament in September 2006.  I won the gold medal for POINT SPARRING.
Forms
 This is my second tournament, it was in November 2006.  Here I won the gold medal for Forms.  My friend Chelsey won the silver medal.
Team Forms
 This is the second tournament again.  Me and Chelsey won the silver medal for team forms.
Point Sparring
 Chelsey won the gold medal for point sparring and I won the silver medal.
Olympic Sparring
 I won the gold medal for olympic sparring.

In class we keep practicing and testing.  This is during the test to get my yellow belt.  I did a hop side kick to break this board.  I passed my test and now I have a yellow belt!

This was from the tournament in February 2007.   I am doing my Forms competition.  There are five judges that watch us do our Forms and then they raise our score up in the air when each person is done.  The person with the highest score wins the gold medal and the second highest person wins the silver medal and the next highest person wins the bronz medal.  I try to concentrate very hard when I'm doing my forms.
Forms
 I won the gold medal for Forms.

Here me and Chelsey are doing Team Forms again.   We like to do team forms when we go to tournaments together.
Team Forms
 Me and Chelsey won the gold medal for Team Forms this time.  Cool!
Point Sparring
 This is still from the February 2007 tournament.  I won the gold medal for Point Sparring.
Exhibition Sparring
 I won a gold medal for exibition sparring too.
Grand Champion Forms Trophy
 This is the trophy I won for Grand Champion Forms.  Every time I win the gold medal for Forms, I get a chance to compete for the Grand Champion Forms award.  This time I finally won it!   I was so proud!   This was my best tournament ever.

I had to break two boards during this test..  Here I am doing a knife hand to break this board.  You can't see it break, but my hand went right through the board!  I passed my test and now I have a yellow belt with a green stripe.
Forms
 This is the Regionals tournament in March 2007.  I had to compete here and win if I want to go to Nationals.  I won the gold medal for Forms.
Team Forms
 My friend Amber and I won the silver medal for Team Forms at Regionals.
Point Sparring
 I won the gold medal for Point Sparring at Regionals too.
I QUALIFIED FOR NATIONALS!
Woooohoooo!!!
I can't wait until June so I can go to Florida and compete!!

I got to compete in Grand Champion Forms again.  I won again!  Here is my trophy.

This is the Point Sparring competition.  I like to do head kicks because they are worth the most points.  We wear a lot of gear but it still hurts when you get kicked and punched!

This is still the Point Sparring match.  Chest kicks can give you a lot of points too.

I won the gold medal for Point Sparring.

Me and Amber did Team Forms at this tournament too.  We tied for first place and had to do our Form again.  We didn't win first place but we won the silver medal.

These are all my medals and my Grand Champion Forms trophy from the April tournament.  This is the last tournament I am going to until Nationals in June.  I can't wait!

This is from my belt test in May 2007.  To get my green belt I have to break THREE boards!  Here is the first one.  I did a spin side kick to break it.

This is board number 2.  I did an ax kick to break this one.  I rased my leg up and came straight down on the board and broke it with my heel.

This is number 3.  I did a knife hand to break this board.  We have to do all of our stuff so the judges can see.   They are sitting at the table behind me.  Thats why my mom cant get a real good picture some times.

This is at the Nationals tournament in Florida.  Me and Amber won the gold medal for Team Forms!

I won a bronze medal in point sparring.
We had a blast in Florida.  We live in Iowa, so the plane ride to Florida was kind of scary.  It was really bumpy!!!  We went to Universal Studios theme park a bunch of times and to Islands of Adventure a bunch of times too.  I LOVED the big roller coasters! They were so much fun!!  Me and my mom went on the Jurasic Park ride first.  My mom was scared but I wasn't!  She would not go on it again but I went on it three more times.  I went to Sea World and we went to the beach at Clearwater Florida.  It was so much fun!  Florida is awsome!
